Any boy in 1st through 5th grade
is welcome to join Cub Scouts. We are an active pack
with great leadership and active parents. We work to
install the core values of cub scouting in a fun way.
Our pack offers many events throughout the year
including:
- Nomad's Adventure Quest
- Pinewood Derby
- Raingutter Regatta/Space
Derby
- Camping
- Earth Day and Community
Projects
- Sports events
- Winter Camp-in at places
like Boston Science Museum, Battleship Cove, and
more
The pack consists of several
dens. Boys are divided into dens based on their grade.
First Grade
Tigers
Second Grade Wolves
Third Grade Bears
Fourth Grade Webelos I
Fifth Grade
Webelos II
We meet on Tuesday evenings from
6:30pm to 7:30pm at Lake Street School in Vernon, CT.
Den meetings are held at the discretion of the den
leader, normally once every week or every other week for
younger scouts. Pack meetings are held once a month,
normally on the 3rd Tuesday of the month.
While most meetings are held at
Lake Street School on Tuesdays, dens often participate
in field trips in lieu of meeting at the school. If you
are interested in coming to one of our pack or den
meetings, please contact us before coming to confirm the
meeting location.
